Badger City Auto Sales & Service

My family and I have been loyal customers of this shop for years and always trusted their work, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Recently, they worked on my brother’s vehicle and something was damaged during the repair process. When concerns were brought up, responsibility was denied and the situation wasn’t handled in a way that felt honest or customer-focused. On another visit, additional repairs were completed without getting approval first, and the final bill ended up being significantly higher than what was originally quoted. To make matters worse, my son’s vehicle was serviced here and we were told a part had been replaced, but after having another mechanic inspect the car, we were told that part does not appear to have actually been replaced. We understand repairs can be complicated and mistakes can happen, but communication, authorization, and accountability matter. After years of being customers, this has been very disappointing and has caused us to lose trust in bringing our vehicles here again.

The most professional, helpful car repair shop. My family was driving from MN to Chicago when a semi merged into us on I-90. We arrived right before closing on a Friday night and Tyler and Chris gave our tire and left bumpers a thorough inspection. They puzzled together the loose bumper pieces and added some screws to keep everything from flapping. Their friendliness and compassion for our situation was an immense blessing. Thank you sincerely. So glad we were led to this business.

UPATED 1/30: Owner said to reach out, we did respond to what was written as you can see below, and no response. It’s unfortunate to now have to take additional steps, as again, nice people but that is not taking care of this issue. UPDATE 1/26: RESPONSE TO OWNER= I appreciate the response. We do have the correct business, dealt with a guy named Luke and emails were sent to him; and it was definitely sold to us (my name) like this. We just put new brakes and rotors on it and were informed by the mechanic to start looking at replacing the vehicle (a white 2011 Chevy Equinox) as soon as possible for the safety of our daughter. We most likely will not get anything for a trade-in either due to the condition of that frame. That is not repairable and therefore should never have been sold to anyone if the business is above/board per both mechanics. We were told it had a replaced engine with like 33K miles of life on it despite the car having approximately 119K miles on it when we purchased it. The first time we got the oil changed we were not informed of the frame. However, the second time, we were shown what it looked like. Then we were going to get an alignment and were told that with t
